Dense Pyramid Style Foam
Cut from premium high density acoustic foam with a 25mm base and 25mm pyramid cone, Swamp ZY-35 is a quality acoustic treatment product suitable for professional broadcast and recording studios.
Fixing the Foam
How you attach the foam to a wall or surface, really depends on the surface and how permanent you wish the installation to be. Popular methods for wall attachment include staples, nails, screws, tacs, glue and velcro.

By: Mr. Raymond Toms on 26 March 2013The project was to acoustically treat my Home Theatre. There was a lot of reverb and a distinct fast 'slap echo'. Audio got 'lost' and 'muddy'. An acoustics program I had, said I would need a mix of dense foam and acoustic gypsum panels. As the gypsum panels were very expensive and would require cutting, I adjusted the parameters to achieve a similar result, purely with dense foam panels. There was a slight deviation from optimum, but I thought I would listen to the result with foam before investing in Gypsum panels. The panels arrived promptly from Swamp and I used dressmaking pins to attach them to the Gyproc walls in 5 zones. The result was exactly what I hope for. A subdued but not dead room. The 7.1 and Stereo sound has improved far more than any new investment in equipment or speakers could have done. As a bonus, the panels passed the Spouse Test. We were originally going to put fabric quilt panels over them, but my wife said she liked the look of the panels as they were.
