By: Vic on 19 October 2013For the price this is a great little pick-up to have a play with. It seems to have different effects depending where you fasten it. Generally the higher pitched notes seem to "ring" in an unpleasant manner. This can be reduced if you try clipping it to other access points. Worth experimenting with, such a simple device.
By: Vic on 19 July 2013Great little gadget, does exactly what its supposed to do. We attached it to a kids 1/4 acoustic guitar and ran it thru an amp with distortion for a bit of fun. Good clean sound too.

It definitely does everything that it says on the box - I was surprised at how well it picked u signal but the pickup is really bright when going through an amp or PA and I could not correct this with and amount of EQ changes without the sound ending up like a noisy tape recording.
By: Vic on 27 March 2013Great little thingy. I bought it for a homemade cigar box guitar so I could add some crunch. But it also ment I could play around with all my effects pedals. I recommend for anyone who thinks it might be fun to play their ukulele thru a wah pedal with a little chorus and delay. Never actually tried it on a full size guitar but I have no doubt it works fine. There was a little feedback and then alot with the overdrive on but that's to be expected I think. A great buy
