Tuner Mode:
This tuner is suitable for electric and acoustic guitars as well as many other stringed instruments as it features a 1/4" input for electric instruments and an highly sensitive in-built microphone for acoustic instruments. In tuner mode the user can select between automatic and manual operation. In Auto mode the tuner automatically recognises the note being played and displays the tuning on the LCD with the note name. In Manual mode, the user selects the note they wish to tune to by pressing the NOTE button. The tuner also has an in-built speaker and by using the red sound button the user can select any note for the tuner to play back to them. The user can also set the calibration, or the central pitch (frequency) the tuner will use to tune. This can be set from 430hz to 449hz.

Metronome Mode:
This metronome is capable of producing tempos from 34 to 230 beats per minute. The user can select between 7 different types of beat rhythms; -/4, 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 3/8, 6/8. The metronome will beep on every beat, but the beep is slightly higher pitched on the first beat to help the user get a feel for the timing. The value of each beat can also be selected, so the metronome is capable of producing beats in normal time, double time, triplet time, quadruple time and swing timing. All this option changes is the amount of times and the spacing, the metronome will beep for every beat.

This tuner/metronome also features a line out jack, for connecting headphones or a speaker and a fold out stand on the back to keep the unit propped up for easy viewing.
