Hybrid Slinky
"Slinky" meaning a custom gauge lighter than the usual gauge that is common in guitars. The non-coated strings are made from nickel-plated steel wire wrapped around a tin-plated hex-shaped steel core wire. They offer a great balanced, even sound. Super Slinky is the safest choice if you want a light guage.

Just what the "Dr" ordered
By: Leon on 9 June 2022Over the last 60 years I have used many different brands of strings and recently tried out the Ernie Ball Slinkey strings. I was instantly impressed and bought this 12 pack. I use them on both my Fender Tele and my Takamine Acoustic, the lite gauge strings produce a nice tone, flexible and are not hard on my fingers, compliments of arthritis.
