JOYO JF-38 Roll Boost Pedal for Guitar
The JOYO JF-38 is a pedal that is more versatile than it first appears. Technically a clean signal booster, this pedal can also be used as overdrive pedal with minimal colouration depending where it is placed in the chain of pedals. With the single control knob, JOYO have made securing a boost for solo's so easy.
Boost Volume with a Single Click
The JF-38 just has to be clicked into action to boost the signal. Increasing the Gain knob will increase the gain of whatever signal is being fed into the pedal, therefore also increasing the volume. Turning the knob all the way to the right will provide almost 35dB of signal boost.
Clean or Overdrive
The JOYO Roll Boost has a distinct advantage over some boost pedals. Depending where the pedal is placed, it can be used as either a clean boost or overdriven boost. Placing the pedal in front of the amp, after the guitar, will activate it as a clean boost with very minimal distortion as the level is increased. Place it in the effect loops, either before or after distortion pedals, and the Roll Boost acts more like an overdrive pedal, giving that extra boost and fuzz for solos to really cut through the mix.
True Bypass Switching
The JF-38 has true bypass switching that eliminates any signal interference when switching the pedal on or off. The Roll Boost pedal can be used with an AC adapter (optional) or 9V Battery.
