The SC280 facilitates the conversion of a AES/EBU digital audio signal from XLR to Optical Toslink and vice versa. The audio will remain as a digital AES/EBU signal, allowing you to connect a digital device with an XLR AES/EBU connector to a device with Optical AES/EBU connector. The SC280 has 2 channels, allowing for 1 signal to be converted from XLR to Optical, while another can be converted from Optical to XLR at the same time.
