Chorus Pedals

Whether you're a die hard 80s indie rocker or have a taste for a taste for a more subtle jangle, the chorus pedal can unlock a world of lush tonal possibility and sonic difference. Chorus works by creating multiple copies or delays of the initial signal and then altering the pitch every so slightly. When individual sounds of similar but altered pitches are heard at the same time, the pitches converge and are heard as one warbling version of the original tone, similar to the sound of a vocal choir or chorus. Most chorus pedals feature depth and rate controls, and more advanced pedals feature tone or EQ controls and overal level control. To untlock the ultimate dreamy tone, consider experimenting with multiple combinations of effects, eg, analog delays, phasers, flangers or reverbs.
