Alctron DCT200 Isolated Multi Power Supply Station For Guitar Effects
ALCTRON DCT200 - Isolated Multiple Power Supply Station for Guitar Pedal Set ups
Alctron Isolated Pedal Board Power Supply
The DCT200 will supply power your guitar effects pedals from a single power point reliably and without noise, thanks to an isolated onboard transformer. The unit can supply up to 9 dedicated DC electrical currents and 12V AC current. The unit also provides provides the user with an impressive array of selectable output configurations to power nearly any guitar effect pedal on the market.
Using 8 individual DIP switches located on the bottom of the unit, each channel output can be switched between two options, allowing the DCT200 to power viretually any effect pedal that uses the standard plug size, with output voltages available from 4V-14.5V. Channels 7 and 8 also provide a paramteric control to sweep the output voltage between 4V and 9V when the DIP switch is ON for these channels.
Why Power Stations are Important
Powering 4 or 5 pedals with a daisy chain is fine, if they are relatively low 'current' consumption pedals. But if you're powering more than this off a single 9V AC/DC adapter you can overdraw the power supply and create electrical issues within the pedals. This can often result in unwanted buzz or noise in your audio signal.

Great product28 February 2017Likewise bought this on a bit of a gamble and am very impressed. I'm new to guitaring but have elect. engineering background and this is a well made and engineered unit. Nice and solid feel and there's minimal hum even with a 40W amp cranked. Lots of leads supplied aswell. Seems like they've covered everything from what I can see. Only down side might be it's slightly on the big side for fitting under pedal boards etc. (not a problem I have yet). Highly recommend.
Alctron DCT200 - excellent product!22 February 2017Not really wanting to pay more for a decent power supply brick than what my pedals themselves cost, I spotted the DCT200 on Swamp's website and pondered whether it would be a waste of money. At less than a quarter of the cost of the popular pro offering (you know the one I mean) it seemed too good to be true. But I took a gamble and ordered it, and guess what? The bloody thing kicks ass!!! No more hums. No signal loss. Just gloriously clean sounding pedals. I now have eight pedals hooked up to it, including an EVH wah pedal, and everything is working properly still with no audible hums or buzzes. Cleanest sounding little rig I've had in many years. VERY IMPRESSED. For the price, the Alctron DCT200 is the clear winner over ALL the competition, IMO. And as yet, I simply cannot fault it. This product is a revelation. Put the dollars you save towards that more expensive pedal you've been lusting after.
Product Review26 December 2016Great product and service.
By: Mr. Peter Davis on 31 December 2015The power supply is a real solid heavy transformer with isolated tappings for each supply just as advertised. All metal, no plastic crap here. It came with an excellent range of leads which is rare these days. Before connecting up to expensive pedals, I tested each outlet and found the fixed 9V outlets to be slightly low at around 8.85V but the adjustable outlets (7&8 in dip switch normal setting) were running high at 11V. I simply fiipped the dip switches for 7&8 to adjustable setting and adjusted them using the little front mounted pots until my meter read 9V. If required I can always use one for higher output such as 18V for those pedals that require it. Plugging in the unit, it runs silent and added no buzz or hiss what so ever which is fantastic. A great product at an excellent realistic price. Swamp service as always was awesome and it arrived in a few days even during the Christmas rush.
