5.8GHz Frequency Band
The design of the JW-02 to use this frequency band guarantees superior anti-jamming ability, better transmission stability and faster signal transmission than the traditional 2.4GHz wireless products at the same transmission distance. There is so much traffic in the 2.4GHz in many city venues that signal frequency interference becomes less in the 5.8GHz frequency band, which enhances signal transmission quality.

By: Anonymous on 7 November 2018The system has been working fine so far. And on an active bass instrument wise. The devices paired up to one another perfectly straight out of the box. It does produce an audible pop when switching to tune mode via Tc electronics mini noir tuner at the start of a pedal chain. It's not a big deal or something that is going to break the deal personally. From many reviews of many other systems, it's not like it is an isolated case of an audible pop created via a pedal chain. For the price it is really great sound/tone wise. The units are equipped with gold plated jacks also. Which is a great bonus, again considering price range etc. Would recommend this device to anyone looking for a budget wireless system for guitar/bass. I initially ordered the xvive system and didn't read all the product info overly thorough. And found that the xvive system doesn't work properly and isn't recommended for use with active instruments. Swamp called me in reply to my email sent overnight. And were extremely helpful in recommending this as a more suitable wireless system to be used with my active/passive Yamaha TRBX 504 bass. I am not disappointed with the system by any means in any way. I just turn down the volume on my bass when switching the polytune mini noir into tuner mode. It reduces the volume of the audible pop. This may be a deal breaker for some people, but for myself personally I can cope with it via way of reducing the volume present etc. I also wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends or others as an option worth considering and trialling. With Swamps 30 day no questions return policy, it's even more of an incentive to try the system out and see if it might be for you. Just follow Swamps guidelines for 30 day returns by keeping all your products packaging etc and you potentially can't lose. It's a great little system.
