Normally they would be used to identify channels on a multi-core audio cable, but I use them to identify differing length DMX cables. Eg. Red is a 2mtr. cable, Orange is 3mtr., Yellow is 4mtr. etc. This way I can prevent an excess of unwanted cable being rolled up in a corner of the stage, possibly being in the way of something more important. As all Neutrik products, this is made to their same high standard. I would definitely recommend Neutrik products where possible. Regards
