| We are pleased to announce the arrival of our latest range of 'road ready' 19 inch rack cases. This new range of cases are made from "LLDPE" plastic, as opposed to our other range which is made from standard "ABS" plastic. Fixed metal rack rails and deep grooves for secure stacking also make this range superior for most professional applications. Our range consists of 2U, 3U, 4U, 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U sized rack unit cases, along with a matching wheeled trolley / trailer that can accommodates secure stacking of all models and easy transport. Lockable wheels on the trolley means the rack can stay on the trolley during the show, and wheeled away at the end. No more lifting those heavy rack cases! |  |
LLDPE plastic is stronger and will not 'crack' under extreme pressure as an ABS case will. Instead the LLDPE plastic will 'dent'. Both plastics are good at absorbing energy - say if you accidentally dropped a loaded case, both styles would protect your equipment, though you might find the ABS would crack under such pressure, where the LLDPE would just be dented, and suitable for continuing use.
The LLDPE cases also have a solid, metal rack rail that will not move or become dented over time, meaning 19" rack gear will consistently fit perfectly into the rack rail holes. It solves the common issue of mis-aligned holes on ABS rack cases.
