Whether you are a local musician carting gear to pubs and clubs on weekends or a seasoned touring professional, a road case keeps your critical equipment protected from damage in transit. Road cases, also called flight cases, are built with wheels and handles so gear loads, stacks and rolls efficiently, making bump in and bump out a lot easier.

The industry-standard 19" rack cases run from compact 2U and 4U sizes up to 12U, suiting effects processors, amplifiers and wireless systems. Road Case FAQs
What is the difference between a road case and a flight case?
In practice they are the same thing. "Flight case" comes from cases built to survive airline freight, while "road case" is the common term in Australian live production. Both describe rugged transport cases with reinforced corners and latching lids.
Can I get a custom road case made?
Yes. SWAMP does not build cases in-house, but we work directly with our case factory to have specific cases made for customers. Send us your gear's model or dimensions and we will organise the right case to suit.
Do road cases come with wheels?
Many larger cases and utility trunks include castor wheels for rolling heavy loads, while compact rack cases are designed to be carried by their handles. Check the individual product listing for the configuration of each case.
