Every Cyber-G shares the same body: a 30W speaker, a rechargeable battery, the Enya Music App, Bluetooth and USB-C. The neck and the module fitted to the body decide how you play it.

Not sure which one? The comparison table puts the three side by side, and every module can be added to any body later.

The String Model: real strings, none of the pain

New for 2026. The String Model keeps everything the Cyber-G is known for and adds a neck you fret like a guitar and strings you actually strum.

Cyber-G String Model body with the string module fitted: real guitar feel, authentic strings and Standard Mode

Fret it, strum it, play it like a guitar

The String Model swaps the chord pads for a soft-touch silicone fretboard with six raised, touch-sensing strings, and fits a string module with six silicone strings in the body. Form real chord shapes, play hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides, and strum or pluck with your right hand. Enya calls it zero string distance: the strings sit flush against the fretboard, so there is no pressing steel into your fingertips and no calluses to earn first.

Standard Mode asks for the same left-hand and right-hand coordination as a traditional guitar, so what you learn on the String Model carries across to any guitar.

Learn smarter, not harder: the Cyber-G String Model's Auto, Semi-Assist and Standard Guitar modes

Three modes, from first strum to real playing

Auto Mode lights the fret to press and the string to hit, so a complete beginner plays a song on day one. Semi-Assist Mode has you fretting full chords with your left hand while your right hand keeps the rhythm, and the guitar fills in the rest. Standard Guitar Mode takes the assistance away: you fret, you strum, you play, and the Cyber-G is simply a very light guitar with 24 voices.

The Enya Music App and Enya's website also call these the Simplified, Assisted and Standard modes.

Tuned to you: Enya Music App screens for the Cyber-G String Model with song charts and string sensitivity settings

An AI guitar coach in the Enya Music App

Song charts scroll at your speed while the chords light up on the neck in time with the music, and the app gives instant feedback on your timing, fretting and strumming. Practice drills build left-hand and right-hand coordination one song at a time. Adjust the string sensitivity to your touch and add realistic sliding sounds, so the guitar responds the way you play rather than the other way round.

Cyber-G String Model player surrounded by its 24 built-in instrument tones

24 tones, 5 drum kits and 500+ grooves on board

Turn the knob and the same six strings become an electric guitar, a bass, a piano, a trumpet, a flute, a guzheng or a synth. Layer smart drum and bass backing under your playing, set the key and tempo, and you are carrying a band in a 2kg instrument. Record it straight to your phone or tablet over USB-C.

A 30W speaker inside the body

A 10W tweeter and a 20W woofer are built into the body, so there is nothing to plug in: play in the park, on the couch or at a party. Run it into an amp or PA through the 6.35mm output, practise silently on headphones, or stream music to it over Bluetooth 5.2 and use it as a speaker. The 3400mAh battery gives about 5 hours through the speaker and 10 hours into an amp, and recharges over USB-C in 2 hours.

Keyboard and Pick models: the original stringless Cyber-G

The model that started it: an illuminated chord-pad neck and your choice of performance module, for backing tracks, keytar leads and sing-along sets with no guitar technique required.

Chord pads, not chord shapes

Press one illuminated pad on the neck and the Cyber-G plays the whole chord, with real-time bass and drum backing that follows your key and tempo. Smart Tabs in the Enya Music App walk you through songs pad by pad, so vocalists, beginners and anyone who wants to accompany themselves can play a full song in an afternoon. Sing & Play mode is built for exactly that.

Cyber-G Keyboard Model with the neck detached and the Keyboard Module in the body

Keyboard Module: melodies and Solo Mode

Illuminated keys styled like a keytar. Play leads and melodies with your right hand, hold chords with your left, and use Solo Mode to layer the two in one instrument. The Keyboard Module ships with the Keyboard Model and the Mars Red String Deluxe, and is sold separately for every other Cyber-G.

Cyber-G Pick Model with the neck detached and the Pick Module in the body

Pick Module: strum and solo

A rhythmic pick you strum or flick for rhythm and arpeggios that drives the smart backing, plus 12 lit touch pads that become a scale pad for melodic solos in Solo Mode. It is the lowest-cost way into the Cyber-G, and the module to add when a Keyboard or String owner wants strumming-style rhythm input without the strings.

Keyboard and Pick models, plus the add-on modules

Both stringless models come in Black or Blue with the module, carry bag, strap, charger, USB-C cable and quick start guide. Add the other module later and keep both in the bag.

Modular by design

One body, three ways to play

Every Cyber-G body takes every module. Swap the string module for the keyboard or the pick module in seconds and the same guitar becomes a different instrument. Going the other way, from a Keyboard or Pick model to strings, takes the String Module upgrade kit: the string body module plus the string neck in one set, and a firmware update.

Which module does what

The module sits in the bay on the body, where your strumming hand rests. The string module gives you six silicone strings to strum and pluck. The Keyboard Module gives you illuminated keys and Solo Mode. The Pick Module gives you a rhythmic pick for strumming and lit touch pads for solos. Switching between them is a matter of seconds, and the Mars Red String Deluxe ships with the keyboard module in the box for exactly that reason.

Enya has confirmed to SWAMP that the String Module kit includes both the string body module and the string neck, and that an existing Keyboard or Pick body is fully compatible. A kit bought on its own needs a firmware update in the Enya Music App (Enya says about 2-3 hours); with up-to-date firmware, any Cyber-G neck and any module work on any Cyber-G body. SWAMP will stock the String Module kit as a standalone item. Until it lands, watch the Cyber-G accessories page or ask the SWAMP team to let you know when it arrives.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Cyber-G String Model a real guitar?
It plays like one and it teaches like one. The neck has six raised silicone strings that sense where you fret, the body has six silicone strings you strum or pluck, and in Standard Guitar Mode your left and right hands do exactly what they would on a traditional guitar: chord shapes, hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides and strumming. The sound, though, comes from the 24 built-in tones and the smart backing rather than from vibrating strings, which is what makes it silent on headphones, painless to fret and light enough to travel with.
I already own a Keyboard or Pick Cyber-G. Can I turn it into the String Model?
Yes. Enya has confirmed to SWAMP that an existing body is fully compatible. The String Module kit comes with both parts you need, the string body module and the silicone string neck. Fit them, then update the firmware in the Enya Music App (Enya says this takes about 2-3 hours), and your guitar plays as a String Model. SWAMP will stock the String Module upgrade kit as a standalone item. Until it lands, keep an eye on the Cyber-G accessories page or ask the SWAMP team to let you know when it arrives.
Can I buy a neck on its own?
Not as a retail item. Enya sells the string neck only as part of the String Module kit, together with the string body module. Single necks, string or chord-pad, are supplied as after-sales replacement parts, so if a neck is damaged, contact the SWAMP team about a replacement through Enya.
How many sounds does the Cyber-G have?
24 instrument sounds. The String Model ships with all 24 pre-installed. Some earlier Keyboard and Pick units shipped before the full sound library was added: update the firmware in the Enya Music App to the latest version and all 24 sounds appear. If yours still shows fewer after the update, contact the SWAMP team.
Can the String Model use the Keyboard Module or the Pick Module?
Yes. Every Cyber-G body takes every module, so a String Model owner can swap in the Keyboard Module for keytar-style leads and Solo Mode, or the Pick Module for strummed rhythm and touch-pad solos. With up-to-date firmware, any Cyber-G neck and any module work on any Cyber-G body, so if you own a stringless model and a String Model you can swap necks and modules between them freely. The Mars Red Deluxe ships with the Keyboard Module in the box; for Black and White it is an add-on.
What does the Mars Red Deluxe add?
The Mars Red finish and the Keyboard Module, so you can switch between strings and keys on the same body from day one. Everything else, from the speaker and battery to the case and strap, is the same as the Black and White String Models.
Do I need the Enya Music App?
Not to play: the knob and FUNC button on the body switch tones, key and presets, and the guitar works on its own. The app (iOS and Android) is where the songs, Smart Tabs, coaching feedback, string sensitivity, sound settings and firmware updates live, so most owners keep a phone or tablet nearby while they learn.
Can I use headphones, an amp or record into my computer?
All three. The 3.5mm output takes headphones for silent practice, the 6.35mm output runs into a guitar amp, keyboard amp or PA, and the USB-C port records straight to a phone or tablet (OTG). Bluetooth 5.2 pairs it with the app and lets you stream music through the built-in speaker.
How long does the battery last?
The 3400mAh battery runs about 5 hours through the built-in speaker, or about 10 hours when the speaker is off and you are playing into an amp or headphones. A full recharge over USB-C takes around 2 hours.
Which model should a beginner start with?
If the goal is to end up playing guitar, the String Model: Auto Mode lights up what to press and what to hit, Semi-Assist builds real chord shapes, and the silicone strings take the finger pain out of the first months. If the goal is to sing and accompany yourself, or to play keytar-style leads over backing tracks, the Keyboard Model gets you there fastest. The Pick Model is the lowest-cost entry, and any module can be added later.
Which wireless pedal fits the Cyber-G?
The Enya Bluetooth Wireless Pedal comes in three models, one each for the NEXG 2, the Inspire and the Cyber-G. Choose the Cyber-G model: it controls key and tempo changes hands-free while you play or sing.
What is in the box?
String Model: the guitar, a protective storage case, strap, USB-C to USB-C cable, spare strings and a quick start guide, with the Keyboard Module added on the Mars Red Deluxe. Keyboard and Pick models: the guitar with its module, carry bag, strap, charger, USB-C to USB-C cable and quick start guide.
Is it covered by an Australian warranty?
Yes. SWAMP is the Australian distributor for Enya Music, so every Cyber-G sold here is Australian stock backed by an Australian warranty and supported by the SWAMP team in Canberra.
