What size violin does my child need?
Violins are sized from 1/4 up to full size (4/4), matched to the player's arm length and age. Most children move to a 3/4 size around ages 9 to 12 and a full size violin in their early teens, which is why our student range focuses on 3/4 and 4/4 sizes. If in doubt, ask your music teacher to measure up.
