Very little, the names are used interchangeably. Braided sleeving is an expandable tube that cables slide through, while spiral wrap winds around an existing bundle, so it can be added without unplugging anything. Both are reusable and available by the metre.
Can cable wraps be cut to length?
Yes. Spiral wrap and braided sleeving are sold by the metre and trim cleanly with sharp scissors. Cutting braided sleeving can leave loose ends, so finishing the cut with heat or tape keeps the weave from fraying.
