A keyboard case, often called a keyboard bag or gig bag, shields your keyboard from the knocks, scrapes and weather that come with regular transport. A snug fit is the priority: a case matched to your keyboard's dimensions stops it sliding around inside, while foam padding absorbs the impacts that damage keys, wheels and sliders.

What size keyboard case do I need?
Measure your keyboard's length, depth and height, then compare against the case's internal dimensions. Key count (49, 61, 76 or 88 keys) is a good starting point, but keyboards of the same key count vary between models, so always check measurements before buying.
Should I choose a padded keyboard bag or a hard case?
A padded keyboard bag is lighter and easier to carry, which suits rehearsals and local gigs. A hard road case offers far greater crush protection for touring, trailers and flights, at the cost of extra weight and bulk.
Are keyboard cases worth it?
