Easy To Use
Simply plug in either end of an audio cable into Left and Right side of the device, then turn the rotary switch to check signal continuity across all active pins / conductors. The brightly coloured LED's will light up indicating signal continuity and which pins are connected together.
Rugged, Compact, Reliable
Built with a solid metal construction in a small rectangle shape shell, this cable tester will last the whole nine yards on the road and in the studio.

By: Mr. Peter Gray on 12 April 2013This cable tester is very versitile. I have had another type that is 15 years old now and needed upgrading. The Alctron is a far more versitile unit as it can test the latest Speakon cables. Very easy to use and it even has a battery checker on it .

By: Bruce Linton on 29 March 2013A very handy piece of kit! Well laid out and easy to use. The LED's are bright and easy to see, providing instant notification. I would have preferred an extra "off" stage on the rotary switch, as the only way to keep the unit out of "Battery Test" mode is to engage one of the test circuits. I have seen another version of this unit with USB sockets in place of the 3.5mm sockets. Would be nice to have both included in the one unit, to "cover all bases".
