PAH-720 Handheld Wireless Vocal Microphone
The PAH-720 is a vocal microphone suitable for both speaking and live vocal performance. The frequency response replicates that of popular dynamic vocal mics giving crisp, clear mid range sound that rejects feedback. The PAH-720's gain control allows for tweaking of mic's sensitivity to suit the vocal performer. A backlit LCD display shows the operational status of the microphone, including current group, channel, battery charge, and lock status. The removable grill allows for easy replacement if damaged. This microphone is perfect for performing bands, weddings and other functions with multiple or animated/mobile speakers or vocalist. The broadcasting range of this mic is 655-679MHz, making it both legally and functionally suitable for most areas of Australia.

PAW-1000 Wireless Receiver - Automatic IR Connection - Vacant Frequency Detection
The PAW-1000 is a compact, easy to use high quality receiver with an impressive pick up range. The receiver uses automatic frequency testing to detect vacant frequencies in the area. Combine this with infrared synchronization that automaticall pairs the transmitter and receiver to the same frequency, and this system is as simple to set up as 1-2-3! To make life even easier, an onboard digital volume control system automates the volume level outputted ensuring maximum signal strength without distortion / clipping. This results in clear, even sound between different speakers singers.

The unit incorperates two antennas that it can switch between automatically to prevent dropouts while a performer moves around stage. The mute level control on the rear of the unit acts like a noise gate and is useful if there are interference noises when the mic is not being used. The backlit LCD shows the status of each receiving channel, including the current group and frequency, and active antenna. The 6 segment LED meter indicates RF signal strength and audio input levels.

Important Changes To Wireless System Requirements - Digital Dividend
The Australian government has recently sold off a chunk of the UHF frequency spectrum for telecommunications purposes. This means that the legal operating frequency for personal broadcasting has changed.

As of 1st of January 2015, any broadcasting system operating in Australia, including wireless microphones and other wireless audio systems, must now operate between 520-694MHz. Not only is this a legal requirement, but an operational requirement to prevent interference that can be picked up in commercial broadcasting frequency ranges.

While 520-694MHz is the general frequency range for operation without needing approval, the available frequencies bands do vary by location. To check available frequencies for your area visit the following website:
