With a 23-inch (584mm) scale length, the AJ12 is the perfect bass guitar for younger beginners, adults with smaller hands, or guitarists wanting to make a smooth transition to the rhythm section! With a lightweight roasted poplar body, an ergonomic roasted maple neck, and a 9.5" radiused roasted maple fretboard, the AJ12 plays like butter across each of its twenty high-grade, 25% nickel frets. Artist have added classic black block inlays, which, along with a timeless offset body, give the AJ12 some serious 70s-style mojo. A narrow 38mm ABS nut makes this one perfect for players of all levels, particularly those with smaller hands, who will appreciate the comfortable, 21.5mm C-shape neck profile - a thickness more common to the electric guitar.
