Focused Ambient Sound
When imagining the concept of the Futura, Foxgear engineers drew inspiration from lessons and successes learned in the R&D of the now famous Echo. They wanted a pedal that had at heart a focused “ambient” sound. The Futura’s impressive ambience is reached through its ability to make the repeats disappear while you play. The Futura actually uses three circuits in combination to create a mixable reverb AND delay that permits the player to set it, for example, to a great slapback echo + reverb, and then to be able to play an arpeggio without having to change settings.

The Foxgear pedals have a clever design, reducing the footprint, with the use of top mounted jacks, making it easy to hook up into your signal chain. An acrylic faceplate lights up when the pedal is turned on so you'll see it on the darkest of stages. Foxgear pedals are constructed with non-SMD components in the audio path, with analog design, and high-quality components like Wima capacitors, real Alpha 16mm pots, non-plastic trimmers, and a true bypass circuit that includes Panasonic golden pin relays.
