JOYO American Sound - Amp Emulator Pedal
The American Sound guitar pedal is designed primarily to be used in place of an amplifier when you are recording direct into your computer, or plugging straight into the mixing desk in a PA system. Replicating the American Fender 57 Deluxe amp sound, this pedal is a great time and space saver when you need to capture that true American Fender flavour in your recordings, but don't have the facilities or budget to spend on mic'ing up the real thing at the high volume to produce the same tones.
3 Band EQ with Level, Drive and Voice controls
By using a combination of EQ and tonal adjustments, the JF-14 pedal enables you move from the classic Deluxe 57 through to sounds replicating standard Fender Twin's and Fender Tweed amplifiers. Whether beginning with the cleaner tone with the Drive down or with an overdriven tone for solo's (Drive up), you can adjust the Voice control to find the most suitable setting for you. No matter what Fender style you are after, or what your musical taste, you will find American Sound amp emulator pedal to be a highly impressive unit.

Great sounding pedal at a good price
By: Anonymous on 11 July 2026I was after a good amp simulation pedal to use for regular practices at a friends house as I didn't want to transport my amp. We practice at a low volume so needed something that would suit. I read lots of reviews on different pedals many of which were digital effects based pedals which I was not keen to use as they don't sound that good IMHO. So I decided to get the Joyo American pedal as it had glowing reviews and suited what I was after. I have used Fender amps for over 40 years so am used to their sounds. I tried it out yesterday for the first time and it was very good. I could easily get everything from clean to over driven sounds that all sounded very clear. I am very impressed with it. I is that good that I am contemplating using it as part of my standard setup as an overdrive pedal. As a result, I am thinking of ordering a couple of the other Joyo amp emulation pedals to have those sounds available at a low price. Swamp is one of my go to online audio shops and shipped them very quickly.

A Fender Twin for your gig bag
By: Peter Earl on 23 June 2017I ordered this excellent little pedal after seeing it reviewed on YouTube in a comparison review with its JF13 and JF16 stablemates. At the price, I decided there was little to lose by ordering all three, even though the review only showed the sound with a modified Telecaster. Ordered on a Wednesday night, the JF14 was delivered by Australia Post the following Monday, a day ahead of the initial tracking advice. I have all three of the Joyos plugged into different channels on my mixer for recording and rehearsal, with the guitar coming in via a Boss LS2 line switcher (though now I've discovered Swamp, I see I could have saved money on line switchers there, too). The JF14 has become my clean sound preamp and has a gorgeous sound (I use a 'Jazz' preset on my Presonus mixer) that I prefer compared with the Fender Twin clean sounds on my Line6 and Boss devices (whose programming I had found tiresome and whose sounds were prone to break-up). It does an excellent job with high-output humbuckers in clean form, as well as with a Telecaster and Stratocaster. It also does a very good Fender Bassman when cranked up, as per the review video. I have also tried using the clean sound with a Fender Precision Bass and it makes a good alternative to a DI box for getting the bass into the mixer. Clearly, if I had a pair of JF14s hooked up to a line switcher, I could get both Twin and Tweed sounds within a single song. A very satisfied customer.

Suprised in a good way
By: Derek on 9 June 2017For the money in my opinion this pedal is a steal. I would say this is the best joyo pedal ive ever heard. For anyone who wish they could afford a fender deluxe amp or a blues junior should get this pedal. It sounds pretty much spot on.
