Description

The iSK BDM-1 is a professional large diaphragm dynamic microphone suited for micing a bass/kick drum. It has a uni-directional cardioid pick up pattern and frequency response that is designed for low frequency sounds.

Can be used with confidence for both live gigs and in studio recording. The BDM-1 also works well for amplifying bass speaker cabs in live scenarios.

The in-built 5/8" mic stand socket means there is no need for mic clips. A 3/8" adapter is also included to suit smaller style stands.

An unbelievable kick drum mic for the price. Heavy duty, great sound on the kick and bass cabinet. Had it shipped to me in 1 day, and recorded all weekend with it. BARGAIN!!!

I bought one of these when they were $10.00 more expensive, and I can assure everyone that I don't feel unlucky, when I consider how perfect it is as a kick microphone.
When I used a borrowed Shure Beta 52 I had to EQ a mid point 5 db down at around 550 Hz and drop out the bottom end from around 80Hz so that the kick would stand out from the bass and accentuate the beat. You don't have to do that with this mic, its frequency response is perfect for a kick drum.

Absolutely amazing. These are a great budget kick mic. I recorded all of the drums for my bands debut EP with iSK drum mics, and the result was outstanding!
