However, for fans of bands like Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and Dinosaur Jr, the lack of the iconic vintage vibrato on the original GM1 has kept the Grungemaster from completely fulfilling the sounds of the era for which it is named. Enter the all-new Artist GM1V, now equipped with a vintage-style vibrato system!

Featuring the same awesome Artist Howler P90 pickups, bound neck, vintage slotted machine heads, and offset body as the standard GM1, the GM1V is even closer to the myriad offset body guitars played by everyone from Thurston Moore to Kurt Cobain! Pick behind the bridge with heavy distortion for otherworldly howls, or throw on some fuzz and reverb, grab the tremolo arm, and strum away for Kevin Shields-style shoegazing goodness!
