Donner Morpher High Gain Distortion Pedal
The Donner Morpher is a mini distortion pedal inspired by the sound of a cranked high-gain amp stack. Switch it on and even a gentle clean amp becomes a high-gain monster, with a 3-way voicing switch (Natural, Tight and Classic) plus Level, Tone and Gain controls covering everything from heavy rhythm riffs to saturated, singing leads. True bypass switching and a pedalboard-friendly mini enclosure round it out.
Three Distortion Voicings
The toggle switch changes the character of the gain, not just the amount. Natural is the neutral setting, giving an organic, uncoloured distortion. Tight is more aggressive, with firmer lows and extra edge that suits fast, palm-muted riffing. Classic delivers a UK-style high-gain voice with warm mids, great for hard rock and 80s metal tones.
Clear, Defined High Gain
Plenty of gain is only useful if your notes stay clear. The Morpher is voiced to avoid over-hyped frequencies, muddy bass and excessive mids, so chords keep their definition and single notes cut through the mix. Its strong dynamic response and signal definition make it especially well suited to lead guitar, while the wide range on the Level, Tone and Gain knobs makes rhythm tones just as easy to dial in.
Built for the Pedalboard
The compact mini enclosure takes up minimal board space, with the input and output jacks on the sides and the 9V DC jack on top. True bypass switching sends your untouched guitar signal to the amp when the effect is off, an LED shows when the distortion is engaged, and a current draw of just 20mA makes it easy to run from a shared pedalboard power supply.
