The NUX Mighty 40 MKII is a 40W digital modelling guitar combo built on NUX's TS/AC-2K white-box modelling: 21 amp models and 43 effects through a custom-tuned 10 inch G10-40W speaker, with adjustable 0.5W/5W/40W output to cover everything from bedroom practice to small gigs. The included NBT-1 Bluetooth module streams audio and links the Mighty Amp app for wireless editing, while USB-B recording, a 30-second looper and an auto-tempo drum machine complete the package.
TS/AC-2K White-Box Amp Modelling
The 21 amp models are recreated with NUX's TS/AC-2K white-box algorithm, which models the amplifier circuit itself rather than just its output. Each model responds dynamically to your pick attack and volume knob like a real valve amp, with the natural interaction and chaos of analogue circuits - and the front end stays pedal-friendly, so your favourite drives and boosts work into it just as they would with a valve combo.
43 Effects with Fully Routable Blocks
From compression to reverb, 43 effects span GATE, COMP, EFX, AMP, EQ, MOD, DLY and RVB blocks that can be arranged in any order. Save 7 presets, each with 3 customisable Pro Scenes for instant switching between clean, crunch and lead sounds within a song, while the Patch Level function keeps volumes balanced across presets - no surprise jumps mid-set.
Custom G10-40W Speaker with Power Scaling
A custom-tuned 10 inch NUX G10-40W speaker delivers punchy lows, warm mids and detailed highs at any volume. Switch between 0.5W for late-night practice, 5W for jam sessions and the full 40W when you need real stage volume - your tone stays consistent while the headroom scales.
Bluetooth, App Control and USB Recording
The included NUX NBT-1 Bluetooth module streams backing tracks from your phone and carries wireless MIDI for the Mighty Amp app (iOS/Android), while the Mighty Editor desktop software gives deep editing on Mac or PC. A USB-B port handles audio streaming, editor communication and firmware updates, and the built-in 30-second phrase looper with auto-tempo-detecting drum machine keeps song ideas flowing.
