Saramonic WiTalk Base-V Wireless Intercom Hub
The Saramonic WiTalk Base is the central hub of the WiTalk intercom ecosystem, turning WiTalk9X and WiTalk9 headsets into a large-scale production comms system: 16 full-duplex users per base, up to 64 users across four linked bases, 8 role-based talk groups and roaming between coverage zones. This is the V-mount variant, running from a V-mount battery or DC power for OB truck, stage and field rigs. With up to 700m headset-to-base range (typically 600-700m), a 5-inch sunlight-readable colour display and an IP66-rated alloy body, it is built for large studios, theatres, sports broadcasts and outdoor stages.

16 Users per Base, 64 Across Four
Each WiTalk Base supports up to 16 full-duplex wireless users - up from 9 in a hub-free WiTalk9X system - and bases cascade over standard shielded CAT5e/CAT6 Ethernet (runs up to 100m; three or more bases need a cascade splitter) to 64 users. Headsets roam automatically, connecting to the strongest base signal as crew move between coverage zones, so large venues behave like one seamless channel.

8 Role-Based Groups Plus a Leader Channel
Organise the crew into up to 8 independent talk groups - camera, lighting, stage, front of house - with each user hearing two groups at once and choosing which one to speak into. A dedicated leader channel keeps key roles connected across every group for tiered command flow. Groups and devices are managed from the Saramonic System App, web interface or PC, and the 5-inch colour display shows groups, battery and signal at a glance, even in direct sunlight.

Bridges Into Your Existing Comms
A 4-wire analog interface links the WiTalk Base into Clear-Com, Riedel, RTS, Datavideo and LaON systems, so wireless WiTalk headsets and wired production intercom share one conversation. USB-C (UAC) connects a computer for Zoom or Teams remote collaboration - including over 4G/5G via a connected device - the 3.5mm I/O doubles as a 17th wired headset position, and optical fiber via media converters extends the system across kilometre-scale sites.

Built for the Field
The aluminium-magnesium alloy body carries an IP66 dust and water rating with professional thermal and EMI shielding design, and mounts via 5/8 inch and 3/8 inch threads. Two side antennas can be mounted horizontally to boost vertical coverage in grandstands and multi-storey venues. The base measures 325 x 182 x 79mm without antennas and weighs 1.96kg.

Works With the Whole WiTalk9 Family
Mix single-ear, dual-ear and helmet-ready headsets from both the WiTalk9X and WiTalk9 series on one base, assigning any style to any role (keep all headsets on the latest firmware). The WiTalk Base is not compatible with WiTalk5 or WiTalk9 SE headsets.
