An excellent performing kit, the SKD600 features 5x mesh head drum pads, 3x cymbals and 1x hi-hat. A stable professional stand, this kit is ideal for performers, beginners and intermediate drummers alike. 30 preset drum kits, percussion and coaching faciltiy available.
New Mesh Technology
The SKD600 provides for a full mesh setup, with each drum pad using a new mesh technology developed by Soundking. This provides extra stable performances, and excellent layered control. Each of the snare and tom pads and cymbals support two zones, with the ride cymbal supporting three. The bass drum pad supports double kick pedals as well.
Professional Module
The drum module is the heart of the kit, and it provides many musical features for the drummer. The 2.8 ” TFT LCD screen provides ease of use for working your setups. A sliding mixer section is ideal for setting volumes ofor each part of the kit on the fly. There are 408 high-quality percussion voices including GM percussion instruments, 30 preset drum kits with 20 user patches available, as well as 20 demo songs. A teaching facility allows for the learning of excercises focusing on rhythm, beats and patterns. A metronome is provided. Finally, reverb effects and EQ's are easy to set and use.

By: Mick Onions on 28 September 2023A great unit for the budget price. Easy to set up. Very interesting pre set Kits. Plenty of features and ample voices to build the user kit that you desire. Mesh heads are quite responsive with trigger areas on all drum rims that can be assigned.. Cymbals also have multi sound areas. The Kick and Hi Hat are much better than the "pedal only" type. a great practice kit with headphone facility, sounds great through my speakers as well. Also reasonable shipping costs and prompt delivery. The SWAMP personnel are easy to deal with and any questions answered without delay.

By: Jazz on 1 July 2021Nice looking kit, is solid and sounds great. Samples on present kit are a little similar but still plenty of samples to create great kits. Very disappointed kick pad is not double kick supported which is one main reason I chose this kit. Mesh is not as bouncy as I had hope for roll strokes in the centre but is ok . Will have lots of fun with this kit.
