SWAMP SCR225 Bulk Speaker Cable - 2 Core 13AWG 100m Roll
The SWAMP SCR225 is a 2 core speaker cable with thick 13AWG (2.5mm2) conductors, supplied here as a 100m bulk roll. Enclosed in a rugged black PVC outer jacket, it carries speaker level signal from power amplifiers of up to 1500W to passive speakers - a workhorse base stock for custom speaker leads, PA rigs and venue installs.
When to Use Thick Gauge Speaker Cable
Thick 13AWG conductors come into their own at higher power output (600W and up) or on long cable runs over 15m. Cable resistance rises with length and eats into the power your amplifier can deliver; the thicker 2.5mm2 gauge keeps that resistance low, preventing loss of potential power and making sure you get the most out of your sound system.
100m Roll for Custom Lengths
Rather than buying fixed-length leads, the 100m roll lets you cut each run to the exact length the job needs - from short patch leads between amps and wedges to full front of house runs. Terminate with your choice of 1/4" jack or Speakon connectors to build speaker leads that fit your rig, with no excess cable coiled behind the stage.
