SWAMP String Muter Fret Wrap - Black - Small
SWAMP String Muter Fret Wrap - Black
Used by professional musicians around the world, string muters are intuitive solutions to clean up your guitar / bass playing by dampening or muting your strings. Easy to apply with strong plastic loop and velcro fastening. No more leaking overtones!
No More Leaking Overtones!
The most popular solution in the past to get rid of unclean overtones when playing stringed instruments generally involved tieing a sock or hair scrunchie around the nut to produce muting of strings. No need to do that anymore. The SWAMP String Muters are a fantastic solution, made with thick cloth fabric fastened via a plastic loop and connected to velcro. The cloth material works wonders in removing those annoying overtones that comes usually with playing stringed instruments. Secure the string muter around the nut of the guitar and bass, or experiment with different positions further down the neck.
Using a string muter makes it possible to get a much cleaner tone, perfect for recording sessions and playing live. It might make your playing much more pristine. If you are tapping a solo, move it down the fingerboard for an optimum position. If you are a rhythm played then somewhere near the nut will do the trick. These muters can really add clarity to your performance.
