Artist AG78V3 Fanned Fret Headless 8 String Electric Guitar
The Artist AG78V3 is a cutting-edge multi-scale headless 8-string built for modern metal. A lightweight mahogany body, upgraded recessed alloy bridge with brass saddles, dual high-output soapbar humbuckers and 24 fanned frets across a 711mm/660mm (28 and 26 inch) scale deliver serious tone and precision playability.
A Refined Headless Design
Since introducing its first headless multi-scale 8-string, the AG78MS, Artist has continually tweaked and refined the design to bring this model to the cutting edge of progressive guitar building at a fantastic price. The AG78V3 stands on the shoulders of its predecessors: it may look similar to the AG78V2, but this iteration carries an upgraded bridge that has been rigorously tested for durability, ease of use, tuning stability and tone.
Balance, Reach and Crushing Tone
The new recessed, ultra-durable alloy bridge with brass saddles and slip-resistant tuning knobs makes the AG78V3 tougher and quicker to set up - less time tweaking, more time playing. Two high-output soapbar humbuckers drive everything from tight djent rhythms to searing leads, while 24 fanned frets on an eco-rosewood fretboard keep the 28 inch bass side taut for low tunings and the 26 inch treble side easy under the fingers. The ergonomic headless body sheds unnecessary weight for better balance and freedom of movement, and a 55mm bone nut keeps all eight strings transferring cleanly.
