Donner Blues Drive TS-Style Overdrive Pedal
The Donner Blues Drive is a mini overdrive pedal inspired by the legendary TS-style vintage overdrive and its famous mods. It recreates that iconic warm, tube-like tone with smooth mids and great dynamic response, while a 2-way Warm/Hot switch adds a louder, tighter voice for rock and lead playing. Level, Tone and Gain controls, true bypass switching and a tough aluminium alloy enclosure make it an easy fit on any pedalboard.
Two Overdrive Voices
Warm is the natural-sounding classic TS-style setting, with the sweet, pronounced midrange that makes this style of overdrive a favourite for traditional blues. Flip to Hot for a more powerful, louder and tighter sound with extra edge and bottom end, ideal for rock and roll rhythm or pushing a solo to the front of the mix.
Simple Controls, Wide Range
Three knobs keep it simple: Level sets the output volume, Tone sets the brightness and Gain sets the amount of overdrive. Each has a wide range, so the Blues Drive covers everything from a light, dynamic edge to searing leads, and with the Gain low and the Level up it adds a smooth push to an amp that is already breaking up.
Pedalboard Ready
The aluminium alloy mini chassis is built to handle gigging, with the input and output jacks on the sides and the 9V DC jack on top to keep cabling tidy. True bypass switching gives a transparent tone when the effect is off, and a current draw of only 6mA makes it one of the easiest pedals on your board to power.
