The Donner Embark CHO-04 is a compact analog chorus built around a classic BBD (bucket brigade device) chip, giving your guitar the warm, lush modulation of vintage chorus pedals. Simple Rate and Depth controls take you from a subtle shimmer that thickens clean parts to a rich, swirling wash for leads and ambient textures, and it works with clean and driven tones alike. Warm BBD Chorus Tone
Chorus blends your dry signal with a slightly delayed copy whose delay time is gently modulated, so it drifts in and out of pitch like several instruments playing together. The CHO-04 creates that delay with a Bucket Brigade Device chip, the analog technology behind classic chorus pedals, for a warm, natural sound that adds depth, width and three-dimensional movement to your tone without overpowering it. Its analog circuit retains the transparency and layering of your original sound, making it a great fit for rock, blues, pop, indie, worship and ambient playing.

Simple Rate and Depth Controls
Two knobs are all you need. Rate sets how fast the chorus modulation moves, from a slow, gentle drift to a quicker, more obvious warble, while Depth sets how strong the effect is, from a subtle shimmer to deep, lush modulation. Dial in a light setting to fatten up clean arpeggios and chords, or turn both up for a richer, more pronounced swirl on leads and atmospheric parts. An LED shows at a glance when the effect is on.
