This bug style piezo soundboard pickup is excellent for classical guitars and other acoustic instruments with flat soundboards. It produces the natural, warm, full sound of your classical or steel stringed guitars, ukuleles and other stringed instruments. When paired with an impedance-matching preamp, such as the Platinum Stage, Platinum Pro EQ or Powerjack, the full potential of the SBT-E can be realised.
Endpin Jack Included
Included with the model SBT-E is a Fishman Switchjack stereo switching endpin jack. The Switchjack allows simultaneous stereo operation and battery switching, and is recommended when a permanent installation is desired. Fishman’s SBT (Soundboard Transducer) pickups sense the microvibrations of a soundboard, and are a practical alternative to more expensive bridge mounted units.
