The new Joyo R-14 Atmosphere features 9 built-in digital reverb types, including classic shimmer, spring, and plate, as well as new types. Apart from the traditional mix decay and tone adjustment, it has modulation effects depth control and trail switch.
Full Selection of Reverbs
The Atmosphere features 9 digital reverb types, including traditional types like spring, church, plate, and shimmer. It also has some new options like Eko-verb, comet, rewind, forest, and pulse. Eko-Verb is a combination of echo and repeat. Comet is supposed to summon a kind of orbit between guitar and amp, while Rewind is a tape-like backward delay. Forest is like sunbathing in a forest, apparently, and Pulses is a fluttering reverb effect. The trail function switch is for switching on the Trail function, allowing the tone of the effect to fade out and sound much more natural between switching on and off!
Controls
The controls are relatively standard (Mix, Decay and the Reverb mode) but there are a few interesting additions: you don’t always see tone controls and an additional mod-controller on reverb pedals in this price class. Another wonderful way of adding colour to your tone.
JOYO R-Series Pedals
The Revolution Series of guitar pedals are the 4th generation of guitar effects from JOYO, and have some very cool design features. Amongst them all is the ambient lighting on the bottom and the top of the pedal casing that is new to the pedal game, making it stand out in the dark. These pedals are built to take rugged situations.
Ambient Lighting
The Revolution Series have an ambience LED light on the front and rear sides of the unit, which sounds useful for dark stages.
'Sync' to the footswitch - The LED ambient lighting on the front and rear of the pedal will shine bright when the footswitch is pressed, also illuminating the LED effect indicator on the top of the pedal.
'Always' - The lights are always on, but the pedal is only activated when you press the footswitch and the LED effect indicator comes on.
'Off' - The lights are off, the LED effect indicator comes on when you stomp on it and activate the pedal..
