The Nektar WIDIFLEX cuts the cables from your MIDI rig, converting gear with standard 5-pin DIN MIDI ports to wireless Bluetooth 5 MIDI. The set pairs a main unit for your device's MIDI Out with a detachable MIDI In plug for bi-directional operation, draws its power straight from the MIDI port, and pairs automatically with ultra-low 3ms latency. Link synths, drum machines, controllers and sound modules to each other - or to your Mac, iPhone or iPad - with no MIDI cables and no batteries.

Set Up in Seconds
There is nothing to install and nothing to charge. Plug the main WIDIFLEX unit into your instrument's MIDI Out, where it is powered by the port itself, and connect the tethered second DIN plug to MIDI In when you want to send and receive at the same time (the MIDI Out plug is always required; MIDI In is optional). Automatic pairing links WIDIFLEX to another WIDI device, or to a Bluetooth MIDI computer or mobile device, instantly and without configuration.

All of Your MIDI, None of the Cables
WIDIFLEX is 100% MIDI compatible, transmitting every MIDI message over Bluetooth - including MIDI Clock, long SysEx and MPE - in both directions simultaneously. Bluetooth 5 provides up to 20 metres of unobstructed range at data rates well beyond a wired MIDI connection, while smart algorithms such as Adaptive Frequency Hopping keep the link stable by selecting the best-performing frequency for the distance between devices. With latency as low as 3ms between paired WIDI devices, it is fast enough for real-time performance on stage.

Build a Wireless MIDI System
Use WIDIFLEX device-to-device between two instruments, connect wirelessly to your computer or mobile device, or create WIDI groups of up to 5 devices for bigger rigs. The free WIDI app for iOS and Android manages settings, groups and wireless firmware updates, and WIDIFLEX pairs automatically with all WIDI devices (including CME and Artesia Pro) as well as standard Bluetooth MIDI controllers. Macs, iPhones and iPads connect directly over Bluetooth; for Windows or Linux, add the Nektar WIDIFLEX USB interface or connect a second WIDIFLEX to the DIN ports of any USB MIDI interface.
