Saramonic WiTalk9X HB-DR Dual-Ear Remote Headband Assembly Kit
The WiTalk9X HB-DR is the parts kit that turns a single-ear or helmet-style WiTalk9X Remote headset into a dual-ear Remote. Saramonic builds the WiTalk9X headsets around a common electronics module and a swappable headband, so the wearing style is a mechanical change rather than a different product: fit the parts in this box and the same headset comes out the other side in a dual-ear configuration, keeping its pairing, its battery and its boom. The kit doubles as the source of user-replaceable spares for a dual-ear Remote headset that has been damaged.
Why Go Dual-Ear
A remote position next to a wedge, a generator or a crowd is the hardest place to hear an intercom feed, and that is exactly where dual-ear earns its keep: two sealed cushions cut the ambient level so the channel stays intelligible without pushing the volume up. Convert the remotes that live in the loud spots and leave the rest single-ear, and everyone gets the configuration their position actually needs.
Everything for the Change Is in the Box
This is a complete kit rather than a single part: the rail assembly, the black silicone headband pad and every screw, clip and washer the job needs, plus the Phillips screwdriver to do it with. Nothing has to be soldered and no electronics are opened, so a hire tech or an in-house engineer can make the change on a bench in minutes and put the headset straight back into service.
Master and Remote Kits Are Not Interchangeable
WiTalk9X headsets come in two roles: a Master runs a system and pairs the remotes to it, and a Remote joins a system that a Master or a WiTalk Base is already running. This kit changes the wearing style of a Remote headset only. It will not turn a Master headset into a Remote one, and the black headband pad colour is part of how crews tell the two apart at a glance, so order the kit that matches the role of the headset you are converting.
