Saramonic WiTalk9X HP Replacement Headband Temple Cushion
The WiTalk9X HP is the temple pad that sits on the free side of a single-ear Saramonic WiTalk9X intercom headset. With only one earcup, the headband needs something soft on the opposite side to hold the headset steady and spread the clamping pressure, and this padded leatherette pad is that part. It is the straightforward replacement when the original has worn through, split or gone missing.
Why a Single-Ear Headset Needs One
A single-ear intercom headset is deliberately unbalanced: one side carries the earcup, boom and battery, the other side just has to stay put. The temple pad is what turns that bare arm into a comfortable contact point, keeping the headset level so the boom stays where you set it and the earcup keeps its seal. Without it the arm presses on a small area and the headset slides, which is exactly the fidgeting you do not want on a live channel.
Keep One With the Kit
Temple pads are small, they are the first thing to go missing out of a case, and a headset without one is uncomfortable within minutes. The same pad is included in the HB-SM and HB-SR single-ear conversion kits, so buying it on its own is the sensible option when you only need the pad, or when you want a spare in the bag for a hire fleet.
