The SWAMP SCR240 is a heavy duty 2 core speaker cable with super thick 11AWG (4.0mm2) conductors, supplied as a 100m bulk roll. Built for high power PA work, it carries speaker level signal from power amplifiers of up to 3000W to passive speakers through a rugged black PVC outer jacket - the thickest 2 core option in the SCR series for long runs and demanding rigs.
11AWG for High Powered Signals
With a 4.0mm2 cross section per conductor, the SCR240 comfortably suits power amplifiers delivering up to 3000W. Thick gauge matters most at high output and over distance: resistance builds with cable length and wastes part of what your amplifier can deliver, so the heavier the conductor, the more of your amp's output actually reaches the speakers on long front of house or install runs.
81 Strand OFC Construction
Each of the two cores is built from 81 strands of 0.25mm high quality OFC (oxygen free copper), adding up to the full 4.0mm2 gauge. The finely stranded conductors are encased in a rugged black PVC outer jacket with an 11mm outside diameter, made for the rough handling of stage and install work.
100m Roll for Custom Lengths
The 100m roll format suits installers and touring engineers who make up their own leads: cut each run to exact length and terminate with Speakon or other speaker connectors, from tidy amp rack patching to full front of house runs - no excess cable and no joins mid-run.
