Alctron CS35 Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The Alctron CS35 is a recording microphone built around a 25mm electret capsule, with high sensitivity, very low noise and a wide frequency response. Its cardioid pick-up pattern rejects sound from behind the mic, so it works for vocals in the studio and for live use where other sound sources are on stage. The aluminium alloy shell and No. 304 metal mesh protect the capsule, and the CS35 comes with its newly designed shock mount and the Alctron PF06 mesh pop filter, so plosives are handled before they reach the capsule.

Alctron VB860 Sound Reflection Filter
The VB860 reflection filter is a portable vocal booth that isolates the microphone while recording, reducing room ambience, reflected sound and external noise. It suits home studios and location recordings where the room has no acoustic treatment, and mounts on any standard mic stand with a tripod base. A reflection filter helps create a "dry" vocal recording with a sensitive condenser microphone in a small room with hard surfaces: the dry signal is much easier to work with in post production, the higher frequencies are kept and the low end is tightened.
