These Ukulele strings are made of rounded, smooth Bionylon monofilaments a new material discovered by Aquila that also boasts excellent acoustic and mechanical properties. The smooth white Bionylon strings are made of a 68% plant-derived castor oil, allowing Aquila to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions by 50% during polymer synthesis. This new material boasts excellent acoustic and mechanical properties, with a rich, warm tone with a mellow projection.
