The Artist AP6G Cimmerian grew out of Artist's original Stealth guitar, and it keeps the formula focused: a matte black single-cut okoume body with subtle vintage-style binding, gold hardware, and high-output active humbuckers that stay tight and whisper quiet no matter how much gain you dial in. A 24-fret neck and deep back contour keep it fast and comfortable all night.
Modern Class
The okoume body is finished in matte black with cream multi-ply binding around the top and a deep contour on the back that sits into your body very comfortably. The active humbucking pickups wear black covers secured by gold screws, and the gold tune-o-matic bridge, stop-bar tailpiece, knurled knobs and machine heads complete a look that means business under stage lights - right as you launch into a blistering solo.
Quiet Power, Two Full Octaves
Active humbuckers bring higher output and lower noise than passive designs, keeping chugs full-bodied and lead lines articulate even under heavy distortion, with a standard 9V battery (included) powering the onboard preamp. The 24-fret okoume neck gives you two full octaves on every string, laid out on an eco-rosewood fretboard with unique waved mother of pearl block inlays and a true bone nut.
Straight-Pull Headstock
The headstock is purposely designed so the strings maintain a straighter path from the nut to each machine head. That straighter string pull aids tuning stability and helps lessen the annoying tendency for strings to snap at the nut, while the gold locking die-cast machine heads don't just look great - they hold pitch night after night.
