A beautifully crafted semi-hollow that evokes the spirit of iconic instruments since 1958, the Cherry58TRM features a bound okoume body with a basswood veneer in a rich cherry finish. This style of guitar has been coveted by some of the greatest Rock 'n Roll, Blues and Jazz players the world has ever known - BB King, Freddie King, John McLaughlin, Larry Carlton, Eric Clapton and Elvin Bishop among them - all drawn to the diverse, resonant tones that only this type of instrument offers.
Expressive Tremolo, Rock-Solid Tuning
The TRM in the name is the key upgrade: a tremolo tailpiece matched to a tune-o-matic bridge with roller saddles, so the strings glide and return smoothly through every shimmer and dip. Combined with locking die-cast machine heads and a genuine bone nut, this is a vibrato-equipped semi-hollow that holds its tuning set after set, while set-neck construction keeps the sustain singing.
Coil-Splitting Bullbucker Voices
Artist's signature Bullbucker humbuckers serve up warm, throaty neck tones and biting clarity at the bridge, with that wonderful almost out-of-phase character when the toggle sits in the middle position. Push/pull coil-splitting on both pickups adds snappy single coil flavours, so you can stamp your name on soaring blues solos or darken the tone to suit the cool of a dingy little jazz club. The bound ebony fretboard carries 22 medium jumbo frets and classic block inlays on a comfortable C-shape neck.
