The Artist HG500CEQ Solid Cedar Top Classical Guitar is a fantastic instrument, complete with a Fishman Presys II preamp with built in tuner. Bone nut and saddle, laurel fretboard and bridge, laminated walnut back and sides. Beautiful looking instrument.

Expressive Guitar
The Solid Cedar top gives the HG500CEQ a certain warmth that carries through the bottom end to help your tone project, and despite its smaller sound hole this guitar is loud and expressive. The back and sides are a beautiful Laminated Walnut with a very eye-catching grain, which looks great in conjunction with the Cedar top. The stunning Sapele detailing on the rear of the body and down the centre of the headstock also adds a visual flare that beautifully accents the contrast between the Walnut and Cedar. 

Great Features
The HG500CEQ features a Laurel fretboard and bridge, providing superior tonal transfer, and an Okoume neck with a dovetail neck joint for superior sustain and improved resonance. The carved volute at the back of the headstock strengthens the guitar and ensures tuning stability, and the 2-way truss rod in the neck allows you to adjust the neck relief to your preference. As with all Artist solid top guitars, they use a bone nut and saddle, the density of the bone providing much better tone that the softer plastic nuts used on cheaper instruments.

Fishman Preamp
The guitar is loaded with a Presys II system by the acoustic preamp heavyweights, Fishman. Well-regarded and reliable, the Presys II affords plenty of EQ options and includes an inbuilt tuner.
