Artist RS10EQ Single Cone Resonator Guitar - Sunburst
The Artist RS10EQ is a vintage-voiced single cone resonator with a spider bridge, built for players chasing that unmistakable metallic snap that cuts through with clarity and punch. A built-in 10.2k ceramic humbucker means it plugs straight into an amp or PA, ready for fingerpicked old-time standards or greasy bottleneck slide.
Classic Spider Bridge Bite
At the heart of the RS10EQ sits a single cone with a spider bridge, the design behind the brash, rockin' resonator sound of classic blues and roots recordings. The body is built from laminated Nato back and sides with a Nato top capped in a basswood veneer, giving a balanced voice with a tight low end and strong projection, all wrapped in a gloss Sunburst finish with maple binding and a comfortable cutaway. The scarfed C-shape Nato neck carries a purple heart fingerboard with a comfortable 14 inch radius, a 25 inch scale and 19 medium jumbo frets, handling traditional slide work and standard fretting with ease.
Plug In and Growl
The ceramic humbucker is rated at 10.2k ohms and captures the raw, dynamic voice of the cone beautifully when amplified, making the RS10EQ just as comfortable on stage as on the front porch. The saddle and bridge are built as a one-piece maple and purpleheart unit, similar to a banjo bridge, adding snap and sustain while keeping everything tight and resonant. Chrome-plated tuners keep things solid up top, and the 43mm bone nut gives excellent string vibration transfer for improved sustain and clarity. It comes strung with D'Addario EXP16 coated strings straight out of the box.
