After introducing the innovative HPL new material guitar X1, Enya has dedicated 4 years of further deep research to have an even deeper understanding of the new material musical instruments manufacturing. The X1 Pro Max features a top crafted from high-quality solid torrified plateau Sitka spruce, a wood commonly found in premium acoustic guitars, which have been stored for nearly 15 years. Enya’s “MAX Carbonisation” process involves treating the spruce top at high heat (~180 °C for around 45 days), causing the wood’s cellular structure to rearrange. This enhances its acoustic responsiveness, with claims of up to a 50% boost in dynamic range.

Meticulous Craftmanship
Each X1 Pro Max undergoes 188 thorough inspections and 120 days of meticulous craftsmanship, showcasing a commitment to precision in every aspect. The innovative use of new HPL materials significantly reduces wood usage compared to traditional guitars, contributing to forest conservation. The advanced SP1 AcousticPlus 2.0 System is Enya’s latest smart onboard audio engine designed to transform an acoustic guitar into a multi-functional performance and practice instrument. It is a major upgrade from the original AcousticPlus system and is featured in models like the Enya X1 Pro Max. Powered by the D1S Intelligent Audio Chip and ES1 audio processing, it delivers high-fidelity sound with real-time effects such as reverb, delay, and chorus—audible even when the guitar is unplugged, thanks to an internal actuator that vibrates the guitar body.
