The JOYO 6V6 is a heavy duty beam-powered tetrode vacuum tube. Excellent for guitar amps, it exceeds output power ratings above the maximums. A classic tube design, it is still in continuous production since the 1930's. It provides a sincere tone covering just about any genre of music from blues, jazz to classic rock.
Ideal Guitar Amp Tube
Although historically widely used in all manner of electronic goods, many of which are still in service, it is in guitar amplifiers where its use has become archetypal. 6V6 tubes are sturdy and can be operated beyond their published specifications. They became vital components of early important combo amps, such as the Gibson GA-40 and the Fender Champ, Princeton and Deluxe amps.
Classic Rock Guitar Sound
The 6V6 tubes are tube are rock solid and sounds great. It can provide clean sounds, with smooth clear high end. On the other end of the spectrum big fat bass notes are produced that are well defined and have a piano like quality. By cranking up the gain, you can achieve everything from a nice crunch to all out controllable musical distortion.
