Neutrik NE8FDP-B etherCON RJ45 Feedthrough Receptacle
The Neutrik NE8FDP-B is a black D-shape etherCON RJ45 feedthrough receptacle that passes a CAT5e network connection straight through a rack panel, stage box or wall plate. It accepts NE8MC-series etherCON cable connectors or any standard RJ45 plug with Neutrik's approved latch lock, mounts from the front or rear of the panel with the mounting screws supplied, and carries Power over Ethernet up to 100W (Type 4, Class 8, IEEE 802.3bt) for pro audio, video and lighting networks.
Plug-and-Play Feedthrough
As a feedthrough, the NE8FDP-B has an RJ45 socket on each side of the panel, so you simply patch a standard network cable into the rear and connect at the front - no punch-down or crimping. The etherCON latch lock holds a mating etherCON cable connector securely, preventing accidental disconnection on stage or in a busy rack, while ordinary RJ45 patch leads still plug straight in.
Rugged D-Series Panel Fit
The D-Series is the most rugged design in the etherCON range and is made for panel mounting and the installer market. The black zinc diecast flange fits standard D-shape panel cut-outs alongside XLR, USB and other D-size connectors, suits panels up to 4 mm thick, and takes D-series accessories such as Neutrik's SCDX hinged cover and DSS coloured lettering plates for labelling.
