Neutrik NAUSB3-B Reversible USB 3.0 Gender Changer
The Neutrik NAUSB3-B is a USB 3.0 feed-through adapter in a black D-shape housing, with a USB type A socket on one side of the panel and a USB type B socket on the other. The insert is reversible, so either type A or type B can face the front, and the standard D-size housing fits conventional patch panels alongside XLR and etherCON connectors while protecting the USB jack. Neutrik rates it for read and write speeds above 200 MB/s, making it a tidy, professional USB pass-through for studio desks, rack panels, wall plates, AV installations and stage boxes.
Swap A and B Without Tools
Some setups need the type A jack on the front to plug in hard drives, cameras or controllers, while others need type B facing out. On the NAUSB3-B you change the configuration simply by rotating the USB insert - no special tools needed - so one part covers both layouts and can be reconfigured later if your system changes.
Built for USB 3.0 Speed
Tight-tolerance pin wiring and an additional copper film between the USB jacks improve the ground connection, so the adapter sustains read and write speeds above 200 MB/s. A metal lip links the USB jack's ground to the D-size flange for a consistent ground level; to isolate it from the chassis, simply pinch the lip off. For error-free data Neutrik recommends USB-IF certified cables, with a maximum length of 2.0 m for a passive USB 3.0 cable. The housing also takes D-series accessories such as Neutrik's SCDX hinged cover and DSS coloured lettering plates.
