The Launch Control XL is a MIDI control surface designed to provide hands-on control of DAWs, software synths, effects, and external hardware through USB and MIDI I/O, eight faders, 24 endless encoders, 16 programmable buttons, dedicated transport controls, and a new OLED display. Right out of the box, Launch Control XL works seamlessly with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, and more. Effortlessly map controls to all plugins and MIDI-enabled hardware.
Connect All Your Hardware
Launch Control XL features 5-pin MIDI In, Out, and Out2/Thru connections, making it easy to connect and control hardware synths and MIDI-capable effects – with or without a computer. Effortlessly map MIDI parameters to faders, encoders, and buttons with Novation’s intuitive Components software. Group parameters from multiple devices into a Custom Mode for seamless control of hardware, software, or both. 60mm of fader travel provides finer control, offering greater precision and a more tactile, responsive experience. Accurately adjust levels in your DAW or assign each fader to custom parameters for a more expressive way to shape your sound. Pan tracks, adjust sends, or customise mappings using the 24 smooth-feeling endless rotary encoders. Each encoder features an RGB LED that brightens or dims to reflect its position, giving you instant visual feedback. Switch focus between tracks and solo, arm, mute, and select on the fly from two banks of eight buttons – or use them to toggle switches and parameters of your choice. Play, stop, and record your performances without the need for a mouse and keyboard. Record, produce, and perform with Ableton Live Lite included alongside a suite of software from Klevgrand, Baby Audio, and Output.
