Rowin RW-LEF-318 Clean Boost Pedal
The RW-LEF-318 Clean Boost is a simple pedal that achieves what it's name suggests without complication - a high headroom signal boost. Boost pedals can be used to give an overall sound a boost in volume without colouring the tone, or as an extra gain stage before pedals or preamps which might benefit from being sent "hotter" signal than would normally be produced by guitar pickups.
While the LEF-318 doesn't colour sound on its own, the included Low and High EQ can be used to compensate for tonal changes that may occer due to the higher signal level e.g. an overdrive becoming more bass heavy when the hotter signal causes increased distortion. The pedal is predominantly clean for most settings, but setting the gain knob at extreme levels does result in a fizzy American Tweed style sounding breakup. Cased in a rugged full metal housing, the LEF-318 is a widely usable, reliable boost pedal.

True Bypass Circuitry
The compact inner circuitry is designed with a 3PDT true bypass switch ensuring an unaltered tone when the pedal is not engaged. A true bypass switch has the ability perform a true bypass of the internal hardware circuit of the pedal, meaning the signal goes straight from the IN to the OUT.
